Tres Lagunas

 

  • El lugar es conocido por sus paisajes de pajonales, cascadas que parecen “hilos de plata” y leyendas locales sobre aguas con poderes curativos.
  • Es un sitio ideal para senderismo, fotografía, avistamiento de aves y camping.

Festival de la Manzana

 

  • Es una de las celebraciones más emblemáticas de la parroquia Principal que se celebra, generalmente, el primer fin de semana de marzo.
  • En este espacio destaca la feria agroproductiva, que ofrece una variedad de frutas, hortalizas y verduras; sobre todo, sobresale la producción de cerca de 25 tipos de manzanas y sus alimentos derivados.

Ruta al Río Burroplaya

 

  • Alrededor del Río Burroplaya se halla un hermoso valle rodeado de los cerros Fasayñan Grande, Fasayñan Huarmi, y la Cordillera del Codorniz.
  • En el valle se puede practicar la pesca deportiva.
  • Se puede observar animales como: tucán, pava del monte, loros, petirrojos, colibríes, la gran bestia, osos de anteojos, osos hormigueros, venados, entre otros.
